Description Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk with experience in Sage 100 accounting software to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently, including coding, data entry, and payment processing.
Prepare and issue accounts receivable invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Assist in month-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in Sage 100.
Respond promptly and professionally to vendor and customer inquiries.
Assist with other financial tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
Proficiency in using Sage 100 accounting software is required.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Requirements
Outstanding data entry skills
Proven knowledge of Sage 100 required.
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Bank Account Reconciliation experience
Strong familiarity with account reconciliation
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
