Description We are in search of a detail-oriented Staff Accountant, specializing as a Credit Clerk, to join our team based in Miramar, Florida. The role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing customer inquiries. The role is available on a contract basis and includes a combination of on-site and remote work.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner. Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure data accuracy. Resolve any customer credit inquiries or issues promptly and professionally. Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments. Assist the CFO in implementing changes to patient reconciliations. Analyze accounts with large amounts of data, using advanced Excel formulas for accurate computations. Collaborate with the Miramar team on contracts and other necessary tasks. Receive and utilize training from designated personnel effectively. Handle 10 accounts, ensuring all data is processed and maintained accurately. Utilize Excel Formulas for 'v' and 'h' lookups and 'what if' scenarios for data analysis. Requirements Proficient in Excel Formulas Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team Strong oral and written communication skills Experience with accounting software Solid organizational and multitasking skills Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proactive in identifying and resolving issues Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills Demonstrated ethical behavior and professionalism.
