Requirements • Degree in Computer Science or similar or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience writing high-performance SQL to solve complex business problems in enterprise organizations • Expert knowledge of data management, business intelligence and analytics concepts including: Extract, transform, load, Data warehousing, data marts, data stores, data sets. • Experience developing secure, high performing, reliable, and scalable Power BI solutions using the Power BI tool suite • Experience with one or more data and cloud technologies (e.g., AZURE, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Server, etc.) and a willingness to learn how to leverage these technologies to improve business intelligence Responsibilities • Power BI development and administration. • Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. • Demonstrated proficiency with relational databases. Experience with SQL Server databases and SQL scripting is a must. • Demonstrated proficiency with ETL scripts and tools. Experience with ADF, SSIS, SSAS and T-SQL is a definite asset. • Bring expertise or identifies domain experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations based on company reporting and data needs. • Generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. • Program and maintain report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources. May craft specifications for reports based on business requests. • Should have knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio, etc.
