(https://www.linkedin.com/company/everon-solutions)Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Senior Programmer for our Construction industry. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire Alarm programming, service, and installation. The candidate must have strong technical skills in Notifier, Silent Knight, NICET, and NFPA. The candidate must be passionate about their work, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and as a team player.Duties And Responsibilities:

Design, program, install and service Fire Alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.

Provide technical support to the project team and clients.

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.

Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.

Troubleshoot and repair Fire Alarm systems.

Train and mentor junior programmers and technicians.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to project team members.

Must complete other projects, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):

Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.

Must have five (5) or more years of experience in fire alarm programming, service and installation.

Must have experience in Access Control and IP Video systems.

Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Must have full knowledge of local, state, and national codes and regulations.

Must possess strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.

Must have an ability to determine and implement resolution to complex field situations.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Must have an ability to lead others and manage multiple projects.

Must be able to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to clear a drug screening.

Certification/Licensing:

Must be certified in Notifier and other manufactures.

Work Environment:

The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and harsh work environments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.

Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.

Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.

Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.

Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
