Multiplatform Sports Reporter, NBC Miami

We are looking for a sports person who does it all – the ability to anchor, report, produce, write, shoot, edit and create content for digital platforms. We are looking for someone who sees sports as news and will go beyond just the day’s highlights to tell the stories of the people and issues involved in sports in our community.Primary Responsibilities:Generate and research story ideas, schedule and conduct interviewsConceptualize, write, shoot, edit and produce sports storiesProduce, write, edit stories and sportscasts under short deadlinesWork cohesively within a team and newsroom environmentCreate regular content for digital and social platformsBuild relationships in the sports community to develop story leadsMaintain relationships in ongoing stories to follow-up as appropriateProduce and co-anchor weekly flagship sports show on Sunday nightsEnsure sports coverage for regularly scheduled newscast sports segmentsFollow the guidelines of NBCUniversal Integrity policies
