Description The Business Analyst will work closely with business units, stakeholders, and technology teams to identify requirements, analyze processes, and develop solutions that align with company goals. You will be instrumental in gathering insights, preparing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved.Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement or system enhancement.
Create clear and concise project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Develop process flows, data models, and workflow diagrams to support understanding and development.
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions.
Assist in the testing and validation of systems, ensuring they meet the agreed-upon requirements.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users and stakeholders on implemented systems.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in creating documentation and diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, IT, or retail) as it pertains to the role.
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
Experience with enterprise software platforms like Salesforce, SAP, or similar systems.
Knowledge of business process modeling standards (BPMN, UML).
