Part-Time Facility Maintenance Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks closely with the Facilities Director and Facilities personnel in maintaining and servicing all building systems at New World Center and/or Alton Pointe (NWS-owned residential complex) as assignedPerforms daily building inspectionsPerforms a variety of general and semi-skilled tasks and assignments within the building, offices and around the grounds of the organizationCompletes maintenance requests as assigned and in accordance with priorities set by the Facilities DirectorReceives daily list of work orders to be accomplishedReports any difficulties or circumstances preventing completion of assignmentsMoves and stores furniture and equipmentAssists in loading and unloading shipments Makes pick-up and delivery trips associated with maintenance tasksPerforms routine and unpredicted building maintenancePerforms HVAC maintenance and repairPerforms electrical light bulb and fixture maintenance and replacementPaints and performs drywall repairsPerforms basic carpentryPerforms plumbing and appliance repairsMaintains public areas including maintenance to restroomsKeeps building grounds tidy by regularly mowing, raking, trimming, watering, performing weeds maintenance and sweepingPerforms trash removalMaintains clean and safe environment for the entire propertyMaintains club room and gymnasiumPerforms other job-related duties as assigned
