WINDOW COVERING INSTALLER
You are an agile individual with excellent manual dexterity, someone who is handy, experienced handling power tools, is detail-oriented, organized, and a creative problem solver. Minimum Qualifications: Experience with power tools and carpentry, fluent English, clean background check and clean driver’s license, smartphone, proficiency with Outlook and Excel, reliable transportation, able to lift and carry 75lbs, comfortable with heights and working on ladders. Window installation experience is not required, but enthusiasm to learn new skills is. Primary responsibility is to install custom window coverings for residential and commercial customers in Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Boca Raton, and other locations.
- Installation of horizontal and vertical blinds, shades, shutters, drapes and automated window coverings
- Resolve tricky installation situations / on location window covering modifications
- Efficiently and neatly prep, install, and clean-up approximately 5 window coverings an hour
- Call clients to schedule installation appointments / manage installation schedule
- Manage product inventory and deliveries
- Photograph newly installed window coverings
- At the end of every install, ask for on-line reviews and canvass neighbors
- Repair window coverings that are broken either by shipping, usage or abuse
- Perform Client Service Calls to repair and or replace malfunctioning product
- Ship and track damaged/defective products back to vendors
- Managing parts orders from vendors and parts inventory
- Canvass neighbors and building sites to distribute promotional materials representing the company
