The purpose of the Installation Technician Lead position is to assist and be responsible for the servicing of kitchen exhaust hoods, ductwork, fans and repairs to fire systems in commercial restaurants.
Responsibilities
Hood service/Fire System repair after hours once facilities are closed
Often work alone or with a helper and must be able to interact professionally with restaurant management and staff
Inspections, cleaning up and some maintenance
Taking photos of work
Driving to and from work to shop
Filling out paperwork
Keeping truck and machine in working condition
Cleaning kitchen exhaust systems including fans, roof, filters, fire systems
Working safely with ladders and chemicals
Getting to per-scheduled appointments on time
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalent experience, required
Leadership skills, ability to motivate, provide direction, required
Light mechanical ability, preferred
Work with hand/power tools
Demonstrate critical/safety forward thinking skills
Collaborator and ability to work with all levels of employees
Strong diligence and accuracy
Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
