Real Estate Development & Construction firm looking for experienced Construction Project Managers
Must have prior construction project management experience (3 years minimum)
100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project requirements and deliverables.
Expert reading plans
Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes
Strong knowledge/experience in the area of Structures
Knowledge and experience working with high end luxury interior finishes
Assist with preconstruction materials, specifications and procedures.
Manage several new construction/repair jobs
Excellent organizational and management skill in order to manage the flow of materials, labor & equipment needed to complete the project on budget and on time
Must have basic computer skills (excel, word, email)
Must have experience in reading blueprints and takeoffs
Schedule, attend and lead project meetings. Report on progress and deficiencies.
Log materials to/from stores and job sites in a safe manner.
Monitor performance of sub-contractors
Must be able to produce & track RFIs
Must be able to manage, supervise, and report on project performance, project schedule, cost control, change management systems.
Must have good communication skills to communicate with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers and interior designers.
Knowledge of budgeting and negotiation
Experience or training in design/CAD a plus
