The Opportunity
A Fortune 500 telecommunications company seeks an Operations Coordinator for a short-term, temporary basis for at least 6 months, possibly longer. The position is on-site and located in Doral, FL. The hourly rate is $20 - $25, plus benefits.
Primary Duties
The Operations Coordinator will support the Fiber Construction Team across multiple projects. This role involves managing various administrative and project-related tasks to ensure the successful execution of multiple projects. The Operations Coordinator will help facilitate communication, streamline project workflows, and ensure timely completion of key milestones. Additional duties include the following:
Assist the Fiber Construction Team in overseeing and managing multiple ongoing fiber construction projects.
Prepare and deliver special reports as required for both internal teams and external customers, ensuring all project details are communicated effectively.
Assist with entering and updating project data within the CRM system, maintaining accuracy and up-to-date information.
Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure deadlines are met, and proactively follow up to address any delays or obstacles.
Support with various ad-hoc tasks, reports, and projects as requested by senior team members.
Coordinate and manage access arrangements for major projects, ensuring all necessary permissions and requirements are met.
Prepare slide decks and presentations for Senior Management meetings, ensuring content is accurate, clear, and professional.
Oversee the day-to-day administrative activities within the office, including:
Managing office supplies and inventory
Coordinating building and suite access for employees and visitors
Maintaining office cleanliness and arranging repairs when necessary
Organizing office events and meetings
Assisting with general office management tasks and responding to employee inquiries
Requirements
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Ability to work well in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Previous experience in project coordination or administrative roles is a plus
