In the role of Sales/Estimator for Painting Contractors, you will be pivotal in driving sales strategies and managing client relationships within the construction industry. Your core skills in construction estimating, cost control, and pricing will enable you to provide accurate project estimates and ensure profitability. Utilizing premium skills such as negotiation and Etakeoff, you will effectively communicate project details and secure contracts. Your relevant experience in construction management and project oversight will be essential in delivering successful outcomes and fostering long-term partnerships in the painting industry.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the painting contracting sector.
Prepare accurate construction estimates and pricing proposals for clients, ensuring cost control and profitability.
Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, leveraging strong negotiation skills.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure seamless execution of projects on construction sites.
Utilize Etakeoff software for efficient project tracking and documentation.
Have proven sales experience in the painting industry (5 to 10 years experience)
Be familiar with territory sales strategies and direct sales techniques.
Be able to negotiate contracts and close sales.
Be able to collaborate with sales management.
Be able to read blueprints.
