Security Officer/Supervisor Responsibilities:
Security Officer Supervisors manage all mobile patrol efforts at multiple sites for our clients' locations
It is an important position that requires excellent monitoring and supervisory skills.
supervisors often serve as first re-sponders in emergency matters, and must have the ability to effectively make critical on-the-spot decisions
Excellent driving and communication skills are imperative for proper performance of this function.
Maintain a proper and sustained documentation process of all disciplinary actions, incidents and overall dally activity will be practiced.
Maintain consistent management practices that promote low turnover, non billable overtime, and excellent service to our customer.
Performs regular security checks of different sites.
Ensures that security orders/mandates are being properly executed at each post/site.
Properly assesses and interprets monitor/surveillance data.
Inspects performance of security equipment and alarms.
Maintains accurate patrol log.
Basic Requirements:
Proven 2 years' experience in a supervisor role
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Experience in surveillance systems
Have reliable means of communication ( i.e. home phone, cell phone)
Must have an Active Security D-License.
Must have a valid Florida Driver's License.
High School Diploma or GED required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Spanish
Capable of following complex instructions
Strong interpersonal skills
