Licensed Security Officer
We are a school in Miami Gardens looking for an organized and hardworking security officer to join our company. You’ll be responsible for keeping our building, students, and staff safe, working alongside our security team in a positive and professional environment. The role includes patrols, screening, and varied security-specific duties. Ideal candidates would be level-headed, calm under pressure, and be able to work with parents, students, and visitors.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by enforcing access control and following security procedures
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security equipment to identify potential threats or breaches
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual
- Pays attention to detail
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Must have valid “D” and “G” Security FL Licenses
- Must have a clean record and pass a background check
- Must be legal to work in the USA
