Sentinel Lubricants, a manufacturer of synthetic greases and oils, located in Miami Gardens, FL, has an immediate opening for a motivated, dependable, detail oriented and hardworking Production Operator to join their team.
Job Description:
This individual will perform duties including but not limited to:
Production:
Ensure all blending requirements and specifications are met
Follow blending instructions
Set up and blend products in a timely manner
Prepare quality samples in accordance to QA procedures
Complete all required operator inspections
Properly and adequately prepare finished product for shipping or warehousing
Ensure equipment is in good condition, perform basic troubleshooting and ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
Warehousing:
Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations
Maintain housekeeping area (including cleaning and organizing)
Ensure products are labeled correctly and stored safely
Shipping / Receiving duties
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Hours are from 8:00am - 4:30 pm M-F with possible overtime
This is a FULL TIME Position
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma /GED with at least 1 year experience in related field
Must have valid FL driver license
Must be able to drive Forklift
Must be able to carry over 60 lbs regularly
Reliable transportation is absolutely necessary
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) is a plus
Knowledge of UPS World Ship is a plus
