Job Description
Filling bottles and cans on assembly line
Boxing finished products
Palletizing finished goods for shipment
Loading and unloading trucks and containers
Cleaning of distillery and warehouse
Blending and proofing spirits
Tracking of information such as order status
Performing quality checks and ensuring quality of products
General warehouse labor
Be willing to help out in other areas of the business if necessary, such as the retail store, tours, etc.
Reports directly to Master Distiller, other responsibilities required based off needs
Opportunity to learn more/ gain more responsibility in the distillery such as running lab tests, running distillations, etc available based on interest and performance.
Qualifications
Applicant must be dependable, hardworking, detail oriented, team oriented, and professional
Must be able to maintain concentration on product quality and in close proximity to moving equipment, steam, water, etc.
Must be able to work closely with others on the production team and communicate with others as necessary to ensure safe work practices.
Must comply with all production and safety policies
Assist in maintaining all production equipment.
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Basic computer skills (able to use and understand software such as spreadsheets)
Forklift experience highly preferred
Distillery/brewery experience preferred
Manufacturing/warehouse experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of pumps, pipes, etc. preferred
21 years or older
High School Diploma/GED required
Spoken and written English is required.
Willing/able to work weekends/overtime if necessary
Physical Requirements
-Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
-Able to be on their feet for majority of the shift
-Able to work around hazardous materials (alcohol), steam, moving vehicles such as forklifts
-Able to work in potentially loud work environment
-Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments that include extreme cold, wet, or hot weather.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35K per year
