In need of an experienced Systems Engineer for one of the premier law firms in the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area. This person will be responsible for managing the health and performance of business-critical systems within the Firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Administer and maintain business critical systems, including but not limited to a Document Management, Time & Billing, Contact Management, Email, Voice, & Archive Systems
- Install, configure, maintain & support networking equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, SDWAN, wireless access points, and next generation firewalls
- Configure network routes using protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, etc.
- Configure and maintain firewall security rules and other next gen controls
- Deploy Citrix servers and manage user profiles and application updates
- Build Desktop images and Maintain software versions within the images
- Deploy software updates to 80+ applications using desktop management platform
- Monitor the infrastructure for overall health and performance, proactively adjust for performance and growth as needed
- Collaborate with other engineers to configure and test comprehensive backup and disaster recovery capabilities
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis of complexed issues
- Participate in afterhours helpdesk support
- Prior law firm experience required
- Must reside in the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area.

- Willing to commute and travel to remote offices when necessary
- Familiar with a variety of industry related technology concepts, best practices, standards, and procedures
- Guide and instruct employees on best practices as it pertains to adoption and use of technology
- Deploying Legal Applications using Desktop Management Software
- 5+ years’ implementing and maintaining network infrastructures
- 5+ years’ managing Microsoft infrastructure, e.g. ADDS, MDT/WDS, DNS, DHCP, NPS/802.1x, etc.
- Administering ADFS, Azure, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, & Windows 2016 Server
- Configuring Multi-Factor Authentication & SSO
- Deploying & Troubleshooting Windows 10 & Microsoft Office 365
- Supporting & Configuring Remote Technologies, e.g. Citrix, VPN, etc.
- Managing Enterprise Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in management of information systems, computer science, or related field
- Certifications desired, e.g. Cisco CCNA, CompTia Network & Security+, Microsoft MCSE, VMware VCP
