Junior Legal Assistant
Our law firm has 2 positions seeking to be filled. Learn more about litigation work and how lawsuits work in greater detail. Prior basic knowledge of the Florida e-filing portal and court hearings is needed. Starting salary is $50,000 to $58,000 per year ($24 to $28 per hour) depending on experience and qualifications, plus Benefits, Insurance, PTO, paid holidays, on-going training with the opportunity to continue enhancing skills in the legal field, room for growth, perfect position to become a paralegal. Our Law Firm is a boutique Civil Litigation law firm with attorneys that practice in multiple practice areas related to civil cases that provide professional diligent legal services to clients that include businesses and individuals. Work closely with the attorneys and paralegals to help progress cases. We have a team environment where the paralegals work closely with the attorneys and other legal assistants.

The Position's Duties and Responsibilities May Include:
Daily interaction with clients
Filing court papers through the Florida e-filing portal
Managing clients and their cases under attorney direction
Maintaining litigation filings, notices, pleadings, etc.
Coordinating and maintaining a calendar for the attorneys
Candidate Qualifications Include:
An interest in learning civil litigation work
Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment
Excellent organizational skills
