Our firm is currently seeking one or more experienced Paralegals and/or Associate Counsel practitioners for plaintiff matters in areas that include Civil Rights, Employment Discrimination, Family & Media Law.
In our 40th year, the practice remains focused upon civil rights, wrongful death, employment matters, media and entertainment law, with an increasing wave of intake matters for urgent and ongoing attention. Best applicants will have sound experience and a well-developed aptitude for legal research, factual investigation, memoranda and pleading creation, with impressive scholarship and keen attention to detail. Applicants should know how to craft sophisticated complaints with factual and legal articulation that will reasonably withstand scrutiny and challenge. Other requisite capacities include state and federal court proficiency, generally, and the ability to build efficient presentations, using best applicable technologies, and electronic filing knowhow.
Applicants should please furnish a resume or cv together with a brief cover letter summarizing their skills, and what sort of a position they are looking for. These opportunities can be full-time, part-time, and implemented with varying schedules, later shifts, as an independent contractor, and/or per other flexible features. Applicants can please advise which areas they can manage well with very little supervision, and which they are more comfortable with when working as part of a team.
