We are a Construction Notice and Lien service company seeking people for our Lien Department. We are well-respected in the industry with many fortune 500 companies as clients and operate in all 50 states and Canada. We have been in business for over 20 years.
We are seeking individuals that are self-starters and self-motivated to join our amazing team. This is a full time work position. Must be a reliable individual with great work ethic! Training is provided and there is a manager available at all times.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, process, and assist with recording notices, liens, lien releases, waivers, and related documents for construction projects in
all 50 states and Canada.
Submit documents through online county recording portals and/or prepare them for mailing to recording offices.
Track and monitor recording status and confirmations.
Research property ownership, legal descriptions, parcel numbers, and project details using online databases and client information.
Maintain an organized database of all filings, confirmations, and communications.
Ensure documents meet strict legal and formatting requirements for each jurisdiction.
Manage deadlines to ensure timely filing and avoid delays or legal issues for clients.
Communicate professionally with county recorders when needed to resolve issues or confirm recording status.
Respond to client inquiries about document status and provide updates as needed.
Work with dual monitors and various software tools for efficient document handling.
Protect client data and maintain strict confidentiality.
Participate in department training and weekly performance check-ins.
Qualifications:
2+ year of experience in data entry, administrative support, legal documentation, or construction administration preferred.
Familiarity with construction industry terminology and lien laws is a plus (training provided).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and data entry software.
Strong typing skills (50+ WPM required).
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Starting pay: $17.00/$18.00 Hr
Hours/days: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (online system for Clocking in and/out)
PTO: 2 days after 90 days, 1 week after a year
