We are a growing company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Textile Production Assistant to help with daily sewing and assembly operations. This position supports the production team by preparing materials, organizing workstations, assisting with sewing and finishing, and packaging completed products for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize fabrics, webbing, and other materials for sewing
- Assist seamstresses with assembly, trimming, and labeling tasks
- Perform light sewing and finishing work as directed
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
- Package and label completed items according to order requirements
- Keep the production area clean, safe, and well-organized
- Maintain basic records of materials and supplies used
- Support smooth workflow between production, inspection, and shipping
Requirements
- Must speak and understand English. Bilingual (Spanish) is a major plus
- Prior experience in textiles, sewing, or light manufacturing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Must be able to use a computer for basic data entry
Work Environment & Schedule
- Clean, air-conditioned production facility
- Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday
