About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Code Compliance Officer. This is an entry-level position; no prior experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic computer skills, and a commitment to ensuring community standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.
Document findings, issue notices, and prepare reports as necessary.
Respond to public inquiries and complaints regarding code compliance issues.
Work collaboratively with team members and local authorities to address violations.
Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems.
Operate a provided work vehicle to perform field inspections.
Requirements:
Must have a clean criminal record.
Basic proficiency with computers (e.g., email, document preparation, data entry).
Reliable transportation to and from the office.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving history (work vehicle provided for job duties).
Fluency in English is required; bilingual abilities are a plus.
