Belly Fish, a fast-growing, high-end sushi concept, is seeking experienced Sushi Chefs to join our Coral Gables team. We’re backed by seasoned founders and investors and offer an exciting path for talented chefs to grow with us.
Requirements:
3+ years’ upscale sushi experience
Excellent knife skills (nigiri, sashimi, maki)
Skilled in breaking down premium fish
Knowledge of food safety (manager’s license preferred)
Reliable, organized, and able to work nights/weekends
Responsibilities:
Inspect and prep seafood for quality
Prepare sushi to exacting standards
Maintain a clean, organized station
Support the kitchen team with a positive attitude
Physical: Able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
