Job Responsibilities include:
Mise en Place Preparation: Measure, cut, peel, slice, grate, and prepare all ingredients before cooking. Ensure pans, mixing bowls, tools, and equipment are set up for events, classes, and camps.
Ingredient Preparation: Weigh, measure, and prep ingredients as per recipes and chefs' instructions, including fruit, vegetables, meats, poultry, and seafood.
Schedule Review: Stay ahead by reviewing the upcoming schedule of events.
Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and refrigerators; follow food safety rules.
Party Platter Preparation: Take sole responsibility for preparing adult platters for kids' birthday parties.
Team Assistance: Help with food preparation during kids' camps and school field trips, including tasks like cutting fruit and making dough.
Adult Classes Support: Assist chefs with prep for adult classes and parties.
Requirements:
A passion for food and attention to detail
Minimun 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus!
Carry a Food Handeler's Certificate
