Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with various accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing general ledger activities, and supporting the month-end close process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy, contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Manage general ledger entries and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
Prepare account reconciliations and assist with variance analysis.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and compliance reports.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
