We are seeking residents of Miami-Dade County, Florida to serve as jurors for a mock trial to be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of Miami-Dade County, Florida, ages 18 to 70.
Date of Mock Trial: Wednesday, December 18, 2024
Hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (with one (1) hour lunch break)
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST BE a U.S. Citizen
MUST BE a Miami-Dade County resident for a minimum of 1 year
MUST BE 18 years of age or older
MUST HAVE a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida State I.D. showing a Miami-Dade County address.
MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY
MUST BE ABLE to sit for extended periods, watch and listen to presentations on a screen, take notes on paper, and complete forms on an iPad.
MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma, persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate

Compensation: $240 cash paid at the end of the session (Note: Panelists must stay for the entire day to receive compensation. Parking will be paid for if applicable.)
