Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and participating in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) programs. Engaged in the Safety program by working safely and identifying safety concerns and issues

Responsible for knowledge of all warehouse inventory and shipping processes and ensures that all procedures are followed, improved upon as the need arises, and procedures are kept up to date

Perform department activities to achieve organizational goals, shipping accuracy, shipping to schedule and material handling

Accurately perform cycle count activities. Performs analysis and corrects cycle count discrepancies, regularly audits locations to ensure quality and accuracy and document results

Support manufacturing by staging manufacturing materials according to order requirements ensuring delivery of said materials in alignment with the manufacturing schedule

Connect with planning/purchasing to gain awareness of inbound volume and of materials to ship. Process in-house material requests in an expedited fashion

Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) at the site as applicable to work area and scope of responsibility

Develop and complete continuous improvement initiatives

Able to cross train as assigned. Performs other duties, projects, as assigned

Education/Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience requirements:

1+ year of experience in distribution, warehouse, or supply chain

Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Comfortable learning new software

Strong communication skills

Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs

Be able to stand for long periods of time
