At Sodexo, we bring these together for culinary innovation!Sodexo Senior Living is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for St. Anne's Nursing Center & Residence in Miami, FL. St. Anne's is a 220 resident skilled care and rehab facility. We are seeking a talented Chef who will commit to the challenges of creating and delivering a culinary-driven dining experience. This position requires previous experience managing food production and training of culinary staff, ideally in a healthcare or senior living setting. Candidate must be bilingual .The successful candidate will:

implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for residents: Catering, garnishing, panning charts, production, puree standardization, FMS sheets, inventory control, HACCP, cleaning schedules, staffing plans, presentation and quality of food, kitchen cleanliness, safety, etc. Sodexo standards will be the benchmark;

FMS: monitoring, Audits, implementation and standardization for new menus;

be responsible for Food and Physical Safety and annual training for all hourly associates;

create interpersonal relationships with client and residents.

be a high energy, team player that is open to coaching when applicable.

a strong culinary background; previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred;

excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies;

experience leading and engaging a culinary team, with exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skillset;

menu planning experience and an understanding special diets, purees, etc.;

a strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, inventory and labor management concepts;

the ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team;

proficient computer skills as well as exceptional organizational and customer services skills;

Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits.
