Head all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines
Register all customer payments to the correct reports
Ensure payments are processed
Oversee and update customer files to ensure data consistency
Take care of inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
Abide by all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations
Process bankruptcy filings correctly when received
Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
Locate delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment Requirements - Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer accounts
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
B2B collections experience
Microsoft Dynamics AX experience desired
Prior experience working with accounting software
2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
