Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Miami, Florida. The successful candidate will be the central hub for all office activities, managing communication and administrative tasks, as well as assisting in the organization of summer camp registrations. This role is crucial to the effective operation of our organization and requires a candidate with strong administrative skills.Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries, handling parent questions and providing assistance to office staff. Coordinate the registration process for summer camp, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed accordingly. Compile and generate reports as required, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Answer phone calls professionally and courteously, directing calls as necessary and taking messages when appropriate. Assist in the general administrative tasks of the office, including but not limited to filing, scheduling, and correspondence. Utilize strong organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient processes. Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Use administrative skills to support the office and ensure smooth operations. Requirements Proven experience in administrative assistance or related roles Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision High school degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Familiarity with office management systems and procedures Knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically) Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail Professionalism and a strong work ethic Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Willingness to learn and to grow with the company.
