Description Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling A/R and A/P tasks, processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting merchants with their inquiries. This role also involves completing daily and weekly bookkeeping tasks and supporting various projects as assigned by the supervisor.Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions.
Process incoming fundings by executing payments via Wire and EFT.
Record payments and update expected payment modifications in the system of record.
Perform daily and weekly bookkeeping tasks as outlined in the accounting operations manual.
Handle calls from merchants and assist them with their requests.
Maintain accurate notes in funding management software and ensure proper folder organization on the server.
Complete projects assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
Proficiency in processing payments via Wire and EFT.
Strong bookkeeping skills and familiarity with accounting operations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with merchants.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
