Overview:
We are a leading provider of marine & seawall construction, shoreline restoration, events and other environmental services based in Miami, FL. Will report directly to the company’s senior management as well as key members of the family office's leadership team
This role is full-time and in-person
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant bookkeeping & accounting experience .
English is a requirement
Strong understanding of basic practices and accounting processes
Ideal candidate is detail oriented, dependable, able to multi-task/manage deadlines, has excellent communication & problem-solving skills, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and works well in fast-paced environments
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Builder trend
Construction Background Preferred
Responsibilities:
Maintain accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
Maintain accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices
Update financial records via accounting software
Gather/input and process payroll and other expenses into appropriate general ledger entries
Prepare quarterly budgets under the purview of senior management
Manage and ensure all company accounts and bank statements are accurately reconciled
Assist senior management in the implementation and optimization of financial systems/processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial operations
