Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a well-qualified Storage Administrator to join its dynamic team of technical professionals at our Melbourne, FL location. Roles and responsibilities include: Perform duties as a Storage Administrator for a classified government contract Managing and maintaining secure, minimally-interrupted operations of Storage arrays, volumes, LUNs and infrastructure Supporting multi-platform devices to include NetApp, VNX and VSAN Installing, hardening and patching Storage devices and associated operating systems Developing and documenting technical procedures Able to partition disks, create logical volumes, create file systems and mount file systems to physical and virtual environments Define and create appropriate monitoring templates and configurations and administer capacity management tools Understand basic LDAP and DNS concepts and be able to query these services for information and troubleshoot issues in Linux and Windows domain based environments Learn new technologies on own and work effectively independently, while still coordinating actions as required Install and configure COTS software, and perform configuration and maintenance Interact with and successfully utilize boards-of-approval to maintain required security controls and configuration management Perform technical research on Information Technology topics, as requested, and produce presentations and recommendations Coordinating actions with peer system administrators, network administrators, security teams, software teams and hardware engineers Basic Qualifications: Maser's Degree with 3 years of experience OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience. Experience installing/configuring and managing NAS, SAN and/or direct attached storage in a Windows/Linux domain based enviornment Current Security + CE certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire Active DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to maintain going forward Ability to be cleared to special access programs Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in IS related field Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG Strong familiarity with Linux/Unix based Operating Systems Experience with NAS and SAN storage device (preferably NetApp) administration (ONTAP 8.x or higher ; CDOT) Solid understanding of Enterprise-level storage concepts to include all commonly-used RAID-level Experience with VMware and ESXi (6.x or higher) configuration and management Experience administering Windows OS versions 7, 10, 2008, 2012 or 2016 OS Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance DoD 8570 Certification in a primary OS A valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP or similar security certification Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
