Position Summary

The OPS Motor Vehicle operator is responsible for the delivery of food trays and snacks to resident homes (approximately 18) for each meal in accordance to predetermined time and route schedule.

The Work You Will Do

Lift, carry, and place heavy (approximately 42#) food trays and dishes in the transport from food service to the resident homes. Retrieve soiled dishes and trays from all homes, as well as any of food service dishware. Assist in the preparation of trays and load onto the food truck for delivery and assist in other tasks deemed necessary to keep Sunland’s delivery system operating on a daily and ongoing basis.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of: Policies and procedures for operating a variety of motor vehicles

Ability to: Communicate effectively. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Perform light maintenance and service work.

Demonstrate Skills in: Operating a motor vehicle.

Direct Deposit Program

As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Background Screening Requirement
