Job Title: Senior Associate, Production Planning (4/10, 1st Shift) Job Code: 8751 Job Location: Malabar, FL Job Description: Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers. Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions. Essential Functions:

Communicate, coordinate, and negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.

Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules

Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support.

Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.

Leads stand up production meetings to capture status and report out any issues.

Advises program management on scheduling timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, test/manufacturing infrastructure needs for electronics, and lab operations.

Experience in an electronics/production manufacturing environment.

Experience using an ERP system with MRP & MPS capabilities.

Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from management peers and subordinates.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience in collaborating with program management, supply chain and engineering functions to support IPT requirements.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion multiple assignments concurrently.

Knowledge of MRP/ERP and advance planning tools.

Experience with the application of lean methodology in the capacity optimization space.

Effective collaboration and coordination with manufacturing assemblers/technicians, material management, product line managers/program managers, and quality are critical to the role.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and charts.

Must possess strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic, high attention to detail and be flexible.
