Job Description:The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This role oversees all aspects of project administration, from adhering to contract terms and safety guidelines, to navigating the requirements of various governing agencies. The Mechanical Project Manager will also be in charge of the project's financial management, including monitoring expenses, managing cash flow, and supporting collections. Additionally, this role involves managing subcontractors, creating and maintaining project schedules, and validating project scope, cost, and schedule. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a portfolio of projects that may include both smaller and larger multi-building or complex construction projects.Qualifications:

Experience with cost controls

Knowledge of current job market and pricing strategies

Experience managing a portfolio of construction projects

Ability to develop and maintain project schedules

Ability to manage subcontractors

Experience navigating requirements of various governing agencies

Strong communication skills

Ability to manage customer expectations

Strong leadership skills

Ability to develop and implement corrective actions

Strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment:This is a hybrid role that will require at least two days on-site per week. The candidate will be managing projects ranging from $600k to $8000k, focusing mainly on commercial retrofit air conditioning systems and HVAC in schools, commercial buildings, and government buildings.
