Performs courier functions at Maitland and Orlando campuses for PA/PFS as scheduled or requested by Supervisor. Receives and sorts incoming mail daily ensuring all correspondence, interoffice or external, is routed appropriately and efficiently. Prepares batch bills for mailing to insurance payers by matching with primary payer EOBs, medical records and other documents required by payer for proper reimbursement. Scans documents to appropriate patient account, meeting or exceeding department standards for productivity and accuracy. Adheres to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.You Will Be Responsible For:

Performs courier functions at Maitland and Orlando campuses for PA/PFS as scheduled or requested by Supervisor.
Receives and sorts incoming mail daily ensuring all correspondence, interoffice or external, is routed appropriately and efficiently. Meets or exceeds department standard for timeliness and accuracy.
Reviews and codes correspondence within specified time frame and identifies payer and patient account number to ensure proper identification.
Prepares batch bills for mailing to insurance payers by matching with primary payer EOBs, medical records and other documents required by payer for proper reimbursement. Enters data to track batch bills sent by certified mail.
Scans documents to appropriate patient account, meeting or exceeding department standards for productivity and accuracy.

Ability to be responsive to ever-changing matrix of hospital needs and act accordingly
Self-motivator, quick thinker
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Preferred:
