The administrator will play a critical role in the patching and remediation of the IT infrastructure.Duties and Responsibilities:We are looking for a proactive MECM Administrator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the efficient deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to ensure the smooth operation of our enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of MECM infrastructure.

Managing software distribution, patch management, and operating system deployment using MECM.

Implementing and maintaining endpoint security solutions within MECM.

Collaborating with other IT teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions aligned with command requirements.

Providing Tier 2 support for MECM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

Automating routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting and other technologies.

Conducting regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies, regulations, and best practices.

Providing mentorship and guidance to junior administrators to enhance their skills and knowledge of MECM.

Additional Responsibilities:

Configuring and managing MECM client settings and policies.

Troubleshooting and resolving MECM-related issues reported by end-users.

Collaborating with vendors for troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Planning and overseeing MECM upgrades and updates.

Developing and implementing comprehensive documentation for MECM configurations and procedures.

Supporting projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency, capability, or security of the MECM environment.

Ensuring proper tracking and escalation of MECM-related problems.

Education and/or Certifications:Required:

Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification

Desired:

Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Manager Administrator Associate

ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

Required Skills:

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation of MECM administrative tasks.

Experience in MECM administration and infrastructure management.

Strong understanding of software deployment, patch management, and endpoint security within MECM.

Ability to review, modify, and prepare comprehensive documentation for MECM configurations and procedures.

Desired Skills:

Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission.

Knowledge of USCENTCOM’s IT environment and infrastructure.

Experience working in cross-functional IT teams and projects.

Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) administration.

Travel Requirements:

Required USCENTCOM Exercise support of up to 10% Travel during the Year to OCONUS Locations

JThe likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
