This includes base operations support, engineering, management, maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure systems, construction management, minor construction, emergency management and response, environmental requirements and programs, real property management; material procurement and management, Civil Engineer (CE) deployment training and management and exercise support.Accomplish mapping and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) tasks using knowledge of geography, planning, architecture, engineering, and related disciplines.Conduct studies (e.g., benchmark studies) to identify problems found within geographical informationE ssential Functions:

Create and provide maps in support of assigned personnel.

Develop long range work plans for project development.

Responsible for training team members

Strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills.

Provide direction and guidance to CAD/IGI&S Technicians

Manage daily workflows, producing strategies that help drive business initiatives and relaying clear instructions to team members.

Providing hands-on direction for all activities and projects

Communicating any pertinent information regarding project timelines, goals, or objectives to team members

Here’s what you’ll need :Associates Degree in Applied Science (Architectural/Engineering Drafting Technology) or five (5) years relevant experience.Minimum of two (2) years experience in:Geographic Information System (GIS) data editing, cartographic design, map composition and geographic analysis with ESRI ArcGIS software; experience editing and maintaining GIS data in Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDS/FIE) compliant Spatial Database Engine (SDE) GeodatabaseComputer aided drafting and design, especially drawing and modeling in an Autodesk AutoCAD software environmentGPS surveying equipment use, especially Trimble survey-grade and mapping-grade equipment and post processing softwarePost processing field collected data with correction to base station collected data.Certificate / License / Registration:Environmental Science Research Institute (ESRI) Certified Introduction and Intermediate training in ArcGISTravel: Minimal, as requiredEssential Functions:Unusual or Special Physical Requirements of Position (specify and provide % of time required). Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary. Must have flexibility of workdays to cover weekends if required.
