PharmacistJob DescriptionThis role involves accurately preparing medications for final dispensing to the patients. You will be responsible for filling, order entry, and packaging of medications. The position requires reviewing completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions have been filled correctly. You will need to verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing a drug based on patients' allergies, incompatibilities with current medications, frequency of refills, etc. You will interpret prescription orders, exercising professional judgment in determining whether to dispense a particular prescription, considering both patient safety and legal limitations. Adherence to all Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations is a must, as well as following all applicable guidelines for compounding. You will also be required to transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies as needed and answer questions from patients, doctors, nurses, etc.Must have FL Pharmacist license active Hard Skills
