Accounting Manager/Controller

Description We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Lauderhill, Florida. This contract role requires expertise in various accounting functions such as budget preparation, reconciliations, and handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The role will also involve stepping in for financial preparation if required, offering an opportunity to contribute significantly to our financial operations.Responsibilities: Assist with budget preparation and entering budget information into the system Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions efficiently Prepare financial reports if the role duration permits Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate processes Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and company policies Leverage ERP solutions for better workflow and data management Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting functions Handle weekly accounts payable tasks Assist in auditing and billing functions when necessary. Requirements Must have 7 or more years of experience in a managerial role within the accounting field Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is needed Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is a must Must be able to perform all essential Accounting Functions Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Proficiency in Auditing is necessary Ability to handle Billing Functions is needed Experience with Budgeting and Budgeting - Forecasting is required Must have experience in Bank Reconciliations Ability to manage Weekly Account Payable tasks is needed Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
