Sr. Accountant | REMOTEA healthcare company based out of Lakewood Ranch is seeking a remote Sr. Accountant to join their team!Job Description
Downloads and prepares payroll journal entries and accruals
Reconciles compensation plans
Analyzes and reconciles medical insurance
Analyzes and reconciles payroll benefits
Prepares and analyzes office and regional financial statements
Prepares journal entries and maintains supporting records
Prepares account reconciliations for multiple accounts and locations
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching US GAAP, general ledger transactions and interpreting data
Provides detailed analysis and quantifies variances from expected results
Maintains supporting work papers for internal and external audits
Develops and implements efficient accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes through process enhancements and automation
Communicates with various locations for preparation of financial review
Qualifications
Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) experience
Great Plains or large ERP experience required
Analytics (P&L and balance sheet analysis)
Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
Job TypeThis is a permanent position. Remote environment.
