IGT is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator in Lakeland, FL. IGT Lakeland is a high-speed printing and packaging operation. We supply instant scratch lottery tickets to players around the world.The flexographic press operator will be responsible for the support and operation of the flexographic presses under the guidance of the Press Lead and Press Lead Backup. IGT boasts the newest and largest flexographic presses in the lottery instant ticket printing industry. NOTE: We have multiple positions available and both day and night shifts available as well! The shift would include at least one Saturday or Sunday in the weekly shift schedule.Responsibilities

Reviews and interprets information on job-sheets and ensures accurate set up of the press

Select accurate Anilox rolls, printing stock and print sleeves

Prepare ink vats in proper order to match print deck location and ink up press

Check quality specifications

Place roll tags on rolls

Responsible for ensuring the press units are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards

Records and tracks all footage printed, pounds of ink used and quality samples

Mounts printing plates, adds ink, adjusts PH and viscosity of ink to maintain conformity and quality

May mix ink for custom colors as needed

Supervises web inspection cameras and strobes to ensure print quality is meeting requirements

Responsible for adjusting plates and impression to ensure quality and accurate registration

Load and unload print sleeves from press and storage rack, and rolls of material from press

During print, operate the un-wider and loading rolls of substrate

QualificationsIGT Global Requirements

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

5+ years of related mechanical, manufacturing and/or printing experience

Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

Must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours on shift

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally during the shift

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, and twist at torso as needed to perform work

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Able to follow detailed processes and procedures related to facility operations

Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)

Knowledge of flexographic press operations preferred
