Lead the design, development, and implementation of secure and scalable online payment solutions
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while working with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and engineers, to define project requirements and deliverables
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain coding standards and best practices
Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks, ensuring the timely delivery of projects
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate
Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive payment information and ensure compliance with industry standards
Participate in project planning and estimation, offering technical insights and feasibility assessments

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
7+ years of software engineering experience
6+ years of experience working in C# and .NET technologies
6+ years of experience in providing technical leadership and guidance to software development teams
4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing REST APIs
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
Preferred Qualifications:
9+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
Experience with distributed systems
Experience with microservices and event-driven style architecture
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Apache Cassandra
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka
Experience with orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, OpenShift
Knowledge of security best practices in software development
Experience with payment processing systems
Prior exposure to a regulated environment, including dealing with PII and PCI data
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
