Successful completion of Background Screening Process and due diligence.

Must have excellent computer skills.

Must have 2 years of verifiable Housekeeping Manager Experience.

Must be willing and able to work in Lake City, FL.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience working in a Long-Term Care facility.

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

Responsible for the oversight of the VA Medical Center, AHCA & ALF inspection standards. Oversee and supervise custodial and laundry staff assigned to the Home. Plan and schedule staff to meet the needs of the Home as related to cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance to enhance infection control efforts of the facility. Train staff in methods of work and operation of equipment.

Ensure supplies and equipment for upkeep are stocked and available to staff and residents. Maintain inventory of supplies. Initiate purchase orders to avoid depletion.

Instruct and work with residents of the Home in the proper cleaning and/or care of their room.

Assist custodial workers and laundry personnel in the maintenance of sanitary conditions, cleanliness, and appearance to ensure a pleasing environment.

Responsible for employee evaluations, discipline and approving time in compliance with Personnel Rules

Perform other related duties as required.

This position is in the Selected Exempt Service.
