We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to work under the supervision of a pharmacist to dispense prescription and over the counter medications. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.In this role you will:· Maintain medication inventory, storage, and security as per regulatory requirements throughout the organization.· Accurately prepares and maintains required documentation logs, work records, and safety checks.· Interact in person and by phone with hospital personnel.· Perform basic billing functions.· Accurately performs required calculations.· Accurately and safely compounds and labels medications and parenteral admixtures.· Accurately packages and prepares medications for dispensing as assigned.· Accurately transports medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas.Job Requirements:· High School diploma or equivalent required· Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred· National Certification (CPhT) preferred· Active Registered Pharmacy Technician, as per state requirements, in good standing with appropriate State Board of PharmacyHCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care hospital.
