Description We are offering an opportunity for a Medical Scheduler in Jupiter, Florida. The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, managing a wide range of administrative tasks in a healthcare setting. From scheduling surgeries to managing patient demographics, this role plays an integral part in ensuring our operations run smoothly and effectively. Responsibilities: Oversee the scheduling of surgeries, tests, and office visits, ensuring an efficient and organized system is maintained. Keep, adjust, and confirm patient office schedules, guaranteeing accuracy at all times. Take and document detailed clinical phone messages for physicians and providers, ensuring clear and effective communication. Be responsible for all patient demographics, insurance information, and running eligibility checks, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. Send, scan, and receive medical records, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily retrievable. Assist the Medical Director with various administrative duties, contributing to the efficient operation of the medical office. Utilize various software and technologies such as Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, MEDITECH, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites to complete tasks and manage data. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Carry out billing functions, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a detail oriented and courteous manner. Requirements Proficiency in Cerner Technologies is required. Must be well-versed in using EHR SYSTEM. Experience with MEDITECH is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suites. Knowledge of About Time software is preferred. Understanding of Billing Functions is required. Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations is preferred. Must possess excellent Customer Service skills.
