Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Jupiter, Florida. The individual will be a part of our team and will be expected to handle various accounting functions, particularly in the area of accounts payable. Responsibilities Handle accounts payable and manage account coding accurately Use Accounting Software Systems effectively for various tasks Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management of accounts Conduct regular auditing to ensure the accuracy of financial data Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions as required Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) for various accounting tasks Maintain and update accounting functions as per the organizational requirements Manage the accrual accounting process efficiently Process and resolve any customer inquiries related to accounts payable.Requirements Proficient in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately classify and record financial transactions. Knowledge and hands-on experience with Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial processes. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage and integrate the business processes. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions and principles for maintaining financial health of the organization. Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including verifying and reconciling invoices, tracking expenses and ensuring timely payments. Proficiency in Accrual Accounting, with the ability to record revenues and expenses when they are incurred, regardless of when cash is exchanged. Demonstrated skills in Auditing, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial records and transactions. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for electronic credit and debit transfers. Proficiency in using Great Plains (GPAC) software for managing and integrating business processes.
