Transmission Line EngineerKey Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the design of transmission lines for wind, solar, and battery storage projects from start to finish.

Early Stage Support: Work with project managers to define project requirements and scope.

Consulting Resources: Hire and manage engineering consultants for line design.

Coordination: Work with stakeholders to secure routes, permits, and necessary data for transmission line projects.

Deliverables Management: Ensure timely delivery of design documents and drawings.

Stakeholder Communication: Represent the project in meetings, providing updates and managing risks.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in high voltage transmission line projects.

Skills: Strong knowledge of transmission design, excellent communication, project management skills, and technical competence.

Travel: Required within North America.

Preferred:

Certifications: PMP or P.E. certification is a plus.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with PLSCADD, Microsoft products, Auto-CAD, Primavera, etc.
