SevenPonds.com, a website and online magazine that offers tools, resources and information about end of life seeks an amazing short story writer. We are not your usual website, we cover topics that, in many ways, are still taboo in our society subjects like death and dying, aging, life-limiting illness, grief and loss. For that reason, we seek a short story writer for our column "Opening Our Hearts, True Stories of Life & Death." Writing skill and expertise is important but a gift for crafting a great short story is a must.
The ideal candidate will have a background in creative writing along with the amazing ability to listen to a person's dying or grief experience and transform it to a riveting heartfelt story. While we seek to offer true stories to help others heal in a similar experience, our goal is to secure a writer with the ability to craft a phone conversation into a compelling story. We will provide you with the connections to those who are willing to share their personal experiences with life and death.
A working knowledge of WordPress and AP Style is appreciated. An excellent command of English grammar, punctuation and syntax is a must. This is an opportunity to work remotely. We offer you a byline.
